#BeMoreTea: Zurich’s Rooftops & the Sweet Taste of Music

Hear, hear! We’re having a wonderful summer up here! Seriously, Zurich has been blessed this year with a good bunch of days full of sunshine, so the need of escaping down south, were the rain risk is lower, totally disappeared.

My hometown offers a good variety of possibilities on how to spend days like these. Our city is well known for having tons of little places to escape the daily stress and enjoy your afterwork rays outside with a cold drink. There’s something for every gusto and, for your own personal refreshment, you can choose between a river or the lake.

If you’ve been here for a bit longer, you’re visiting or living here, you might have noticed that Zurich has loads of rooftop terraces spread everywhere. Sadly, most of them are exclusively for the few lucky ones who have an apartment in the same building, and they can be shared or private. I am quite lucky to enjoy some of those, since my friends invite me over to their flat in order to share a beer and a panoramic view with me.

Well, now you have your chance! In exactly one week, the #BeMoreTea rooftop experience by Lipton kicks off in one of my favourite districts in Zurich. From August 17th to August 21st, the top of the Main Station’s parking will be transformed into a open aired oasis, open from 10am to 3pm, where you can bring your own meat and veggies to throw on one of the grills. Despite your own food and a 360 degrees view over town, you’ll be able to enjoy different activities like local streetart, a mini ramp for skating and some tunes fresh from the district.

If you belong to the lazy ones, there are food stands as well and Lipton spoils you with some free ice tea. For those who have a soul for live gigs: you have the chance to win one of the limited 100 tickets for the surprise concert on Thursday, August 20th.

Seriously, you’re just a short step away to a fun night: just answer a short question, enter your name and e-mail address and you’re done! Just click here 🙂

I wish you good luck & who knows, probably see you soon over the roofs of Zurich ❤

Directions: Parkhaus Hauptbahnhof, Sihlquai 41, 8005 Zürich
