I am a wine lover – that’s no secret! I belong to those that even go out for wine chasing on a party, between all the cuba libres and other mixed drinks. And usually, I’m successful.

So that’s more than obvious that I will be attending this year’s Expovina edition – a huge trade show with different exhibitors from around the world.

170 of them will present the best of Swiss wines, there will be a focus on the comeback of middle and northern Italian producers, also, the Spanish colleagues will make you taste the best reds and whites to be combined to a great tapas round. In addition to our Europeans neighbours, Expovina has also exhibitors from every continent – over 20 countries will be there!

The great thing about this amazing wine exhibition is, that it will happen on 12 different boats, all docked at Zurich’s Bürkliplatz, which will be the epicentre of this floating taste experience from October 29th to November 12th, 2015.

If you belong to the hardcore wine enthusiasts, Expovina also offers a Wine Forum on the LS Stäfa boat – a complete experience with presentations, tastings and workshops.

Tasting wine also can make you hungry (or well, you definetly should eat something in between, I think you know what I’m talking about…), so three boats will be turned into restaurants to offer you a fine dining selection. The boat “Wädenswil” will be your Italian Trattoria, “Rosenstadt” is for the lovers of Fish Dishes and “Panta Rhei” is welcoming the winter season with our traditional Raclette.
