You know how I feel about the festivals I love. There’s never enough and there’s always a coming back the year after. This is how I feel about Baloise Session. This is probably still the best indoor festival I was ever part to, because of the pretty visual aspect, the spot on organisation and a golden line up.
Baloise Session
Baloise Session 2016 – Parov Stelar (AT) / Culture Club (UK): Back to the Future
Baloise Session, Blog, Concerts, Festivals, Music, PhotographyFall means a lot of things: change of temperature, grey days and layering of clothes. A big Yikes! for me. But fall also means that the hippie dances at festivals are replaced with indoor locations. Some of them are simple, others outstanding. Last week I was part of one of the most beautiful indoor festival settings I’ve seen so far. Baloise Session has me two times this year and let collide two different generations. But we all danced together in the end. The power of music. So kitsch but so true at the same time.

For its tiny size compared to other European countries, it offers an extremely wide range of musical happenings all year round. Baloise Session is one of them.
Baloise Session 2014 – Storytellers: Music Lasts Forever
Amy Macdonald, Baloise Session, Basel, James Gruntz, Live, Music, SwitzerlandMy Sundays usually are the same: it’s probably the only day of the whole week where I absolutely do nothing. I’ll might cook but that’s it. Last Sunday was gig day, the second time in a row, which gave me a great feeling actually, since I had something to look forward to that wasn’t the screen of my TV or my pijama.
