I am a Portugal fan. It started by getting there on a solo trip by accident, not really knowing what to expect, besides lovely towns full of tiles and the wild Atlantic roaring in my face. From day one, I was dragged into this beautiful country filled with beautiful sights and very diverse regions that kept me on going back whenever I had the chance to. This year I was lucky enough to allow myself to explore the south side. The awes where a lot, the disappointments very few. Welcome to Lagos, ladies and gents.

My 7 Tips for Solo (Female) Travel
travel, TRAVELGetting out in the world can be challenging. And even if there’s a lot of people doing so, I encounter the statement “I could never travel alone” quite often, when I tell people I am about to do so. My answer to that usually is “But did you ever try?”. It still seems to hold people back, so I decided to put together this little guide. And even if these are my 7 tips for solo female travel, they can easily apply to dudes as well. Because the most common fears apply to both. At least I think.
Koh Phangan: Tribe.
Asia, koh phangan, travel, TRAVELIf you’re here to read about buckets and full moon parties, you might be disappointed. This is a little love story between me and Koh Phangan.
The Dangers of Koh Tao
Asia, travel, TRAVELI’ve been roaming around Thailand clueless by choice, by only planning one week ahead. So when I decided to leave my beloved Koh Phangan, I came across a few little worries overlaying the beautiful pictures I had seen of this island.
Lisbon: Stay. Eat. Enjoy.
Europe, Portugal, travel, TRAVELI’ll do a reverse thing here. My stay in Portugal goes way back to mid September, and I promised you to talk about it. The only thing I’m going to do that might seems a bit weird is starting to write about my journey from the very ending. Why? Well, it feels right and to be honest, one of those three articles will be a little more personal and requires some extra time to write and adjust. In addition to that, the start should be bright and beautiful, that’s the reason why I’d like to present you a true gem in the very center of Lisbon, which was perfect to end my trip. And ending with a bang, as many people say.
The Truth: Why Sightseeing is Crap
travel, TRAVELJust to make it clear from the beginning: I’m not trying to start a rant here. I just found myself thinking about my past 10 years of travelling, and evaluating what I would do again and what is changing about my travel habits. “How do you choose where to go next?” is a topic that I discuss quite often, so it was easy to do 1+1 and integrate the whole sightseeing mentality to this article. Let me switch the main question from “What place are you chosing to go next?” to “What do you REALLY want to see and experience?”. And answer it honestly.
