I am a Portugal fan. It started by getting there on a solo trip by accident, not really knowing what to expect, besides lovely towns full of tiles and the wild Atlantic roaring in my face. From day one, I was dragged into this beautiful country filled with beautiful sights and very diverse regions that kept me on going back whenever I had the chance to. This year I was lucky enough to allow myself to explore the south side. The awes where a lot, the disappointments very few. Welcome to Lagos, ladies and gents.

Disconnect to Reconnect: the Learnings (part 2/2)
Europe, Portugal, travel, TRAVELI already ranted about our online culture and how we are sometimes getting further away from real connections, to others and our own core. I told you about the opportunity I had to live at the Offline House, away from what I know, between strangers and pine trees. Now it’s time to let you know what I learned on a tiny weekend getaway.
Disconnect to Reconnect: my weekend at the Offline House (part 1/2)
Europe, Portugal, travel, TRAVELDo you remember the times where you were out on a trip and had to ask for directions because you were clearly lost? When you sat in a café during your break and glanced to an actual newspaper, with actual pages to switch your mind off from work related stuff a little? Or, when was the last time you sat on a bench in being fully aware of every detail of your surroundings? Do you remember a full day spent without your phone in your hand / in your pocket / in your purse? Me neither.
Zermatt Unplugged 2018: Winter’s gone.
Europe, Festivals, Music, SwitzerlandThere is one event I look forward to every year, which makes me tick winter as almost done, let’s say almost a celebration. If you’re a regular reader of this blog, you probably know it already: I am talking about Zermatt Unplugged.
Ischia: Wild Thing.
Europe, Italy, travel, TRAVELAdmitted: my week spent in Italy didn’t start great, but it didn’t really stop me on trying to enjoy my stay there to the fullest. Because things happen sometimes and the best thing possible is to take it how they are. So if you’re might seeking a little island getaway for this early fall, I got you covered, welcome to beautiful Ischia!
Lisbon Streetart
Europe, Portugal, travel, TRAVELWhile preparing for my first trip ever to Portugal, I was roaming through a few infos about Lisbon, and quickly stumbled across the fact that this city may have one of the highest density in streetart all over Europe. Another bonus point was figuring out that the hostel where I was staying offered a streetart tour. It couldn’t get much sweeter than that so I didn’t hesitate one single minute to book it.
Alfama: the Heart of Lisbon
Europe, Portugal, travel, TRAVELWhen I plan a trip all by myself, I usually start with a city. Obviously for practical reasons as well, trying to settle first after having seen just airports and airplanes, but also because I like to take some baby steps first in a new country. Being lost without the feeling of losing it completely (do I even make sense here?): getting to know a new culture, but still being able to explore, roam and eat easily, having everything accessible. I stopped in Lisbon twice, deciding to stay in two different districts because they could not have been more diverse from each other. The first stop of my solo trip to Portugal was in the Alfama.
Sleep well, Party Lion.
Europe, Switzerland, travel, TRAVELI play tourist here in my home country Switzerland quite often, it usually lead me to some breathtaking mountain sceneries and I took refreshing dips in different lakes, but I never thought about to be more centered into my base that is Zurich. You know how it is, you know your city, it’s mostly great, you have your habits and routines, however, you are more keen to escape it and share your travelling stories from elsewhere. Well, this time is quite different I guess: a lot of you out there know Zurich for its polished banks, the old town and a huge lake, but there is a lot more, especially for those who want to live a bit into the night, exploring restaurants, bars and clubs. I got you covered.
S. Pellegrino Sapori Ticino: Culinary Joys
Boho Bliss, Europe, Switzerland, travel, TRAVELCiao belli!
I know this has been a strict travel and festival blog for quite some years now, so with time passing, I felt the urge to spice up the things a little. If you’re following me on my Instagram account, you’d might know that besides putting on my dirty festival boots and almost mutating into a suitcase myself, another one of my beloved hobbies is food. I could go on forever with talking about how great this can be, but I guess I’ll leave it for another occasion. My Boho Bliss section is been quite silent for a while, so I proudly decided to share some yummy things in here and maybe talk about some little health routines I do for myself as well. If this will also include some recipes and showcasing my poor chopping skills I’m not sure, time will tell, I’ll go with my guts.
Brighton: London’s better version (?)
Brighton, Europe, travel, TRAVEL, UKI tried to use my spare time during winter darkness wisely, because let’s face it: even if the lit candles are nice and the red wines warming, there’s nothing more awesome than planning a bit ahead for the upcoming sunny season. I have to admit, I’m quite clueless about the UK, despite a gazillion times in London and a short visit to Manchester, I’ve rarely been there. Because brrr… cold and rainy mostly.
