My Amsterdam Dance Event Week: Nightwalks & Kickoff

ADE15, Amsterdam, Amsterdam Dance Event, Electronic Music, Europe, Festival, travel

Yesterday I played tourist for another good while, I walked all the way up to the city centre. For me it’s kind of ironic, because I don’t really need a map anymore to get around, especially when it comes to go the popular districts of the city. Amsterdam still surprises me though, because everytime I think I saw it all, I see new places like cafés, galleries and stores pop out of the blue that I never knew about it.

This time, for my northern festival tour, I’d like to actually take you a couple of miles more down to central Europe. To be exact, I’m taking you to my home country Switzerland, on the borders of the Lac Léman, to Lausanne, where I enjoyed the 10th edition of Electrosanne.

When I meet new people and I tell them I’m coming from a South Italian city called Benevento, all I see is a big question mark on their faces. So to make things easier, I explain that it’s pretty much close to Naples. And then comes the big “Aww, yeah Naples, the Amalfi Coast, Capri…”.

Being in and around Naples can get quite magical. I am very proud when it comes to talking about the Italian region I come from. Italy’s obviously beautiful in every way and every part of it has something special, that’s for sure.

All the love for Barceloneta

Barcelona, Barceloneta, Beach, Europe, Spain, travel, Wanderlust

Barcelona, like Amsterdam, is one of those cities where I like to come back to every year. First, because I really like this place, especially the combination of metropolitan vibe and beach town; second, because the Sonar Week and the love for electronic Music call once a year anyway.
