Fall can be a season full of diversity: days can get still a nice warmth, but staying close to the city can also bring grey or foggy days. To celebrate the start of the colder season, me and my good friend Paulo decided to have a trip up in the mountains and head to Gstaad.
Earlier this year in spring, I had the great opportunity to join one of the most important mountain festivals in Switzerland, which is Zermatt Unplugged (see post here). Just last week, this lovely acoustic singer/songwriter festival was taken from the Swiss alps down to Zurich city for the first time – lucky me, I had the chance to join it again for two days.
My days at the Dance Event officially started yesterday, the schedule is pretty tight, but I really like to update you as much as I can.
After a brief lunch and meetup with other writers and creatives, Iamsterdam organized a very special canal tour for us. In the very beginning, I thought something like “Alright, let’s join canal tour #20”. Since I come to Amsterdam very often with a different person who’s never been here, the canal tour is quite a must. So for me it isn’t something new anymore.
My week in Amsterdam has started this afternoon, and I couldn’t be happier that I had the chance to come back this soon! I will pretty much try to keep you as updated as I can with this series that begin from today. I hope you’ll join the ride and be my companion through the streets of this wonderful city I’m never getting tired of, with new insights and finally attending the very famous Amsterdam Dance Event. I was talking to join this great event since five years already, and now it’s really happening!
When I stepped out of the coach that took myself to Noosa, I was feeling quite weird. In the beginning, I had no idea why: I just arrived in a lovely town, I had warm air around my ears and a beach pretty close to me. It was a choking feeling, like air was almost missing in my lungs…
Just the name of the Island Maui says it all – it’s famous worldwide. It stole my heart as well on my first visit back in 2010. But it’s not only honeymooners and lovers here – Maui has a deep hippie heart. Follow me around!
There are artists out in this world, who could be more credited for their talent. Because they have a powerful voice, a great band on stage, a big variety of styles in one record or live sessions that bring back the smokey, dusty and raw jazz club athmosphere.
What does a tiny lady like me, on lunchtime in a luxurious hotel in the middle of Zurich’s business quarter? I don’t certainly belong to the uptown girls or am a banker’s assistant – I was invited to an event that was kind of interesting for me.
